Making a Difference Together in Radlett – FREE event

I am pleased to invite you to Radlett’s first ever ‘Making a Difference Together’ event on Thursday 2 November 2017.

The event will be held at The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett. Doors open at 6.30pm and the performance will begin at 7.15pm.

The event, which is being delivered by Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership (CSP) in conjunction with Aldenham Parish Council, is designed to explore ways that you, collaboratively with your local community, can improve where you live and work. Together you will come up with positive achievable solutions to issues that you or your neighbours are facing. You will begin to plan a stronger, brighter and more cohesive future for your community.

During the evening there will be an interactive theatre performance, group discussions and a light buffet. In addition, local agencies such as the council, police and community groups will be on hand to offer one to one advice and support.

To book your FREE ticket(s) please contact [email protected] or call 020 8207 7801. Tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Valerie Kane of Hertsmere Borough Council gives updates on local Agency initiatives and the Police and the Fire Services reports on local issues. Meetings are also attended by Borough and Parish Councillors, Neighbourhood Watch Representatives, the Rescue Service and Good Neighbours.

Following a review of the Community Safety Partnership (CSP), it has been agreed that they will no longer hold specific local CSP meetings but instead focus on more dynamic community engagement.

The details of future engagements will be circulated members of the CSP mailing list as well as their E-Alerts, Facebook (www.facebook.co.uk/hertsmere) and Twitter (@HertsmereBC) feeds.

If you aren’t already a member of OWL (Neighbourhood Watch) I would also strongly encourage you sign up to be the first to hear about any local police engagements/events. Find out more here.

We have valued your input in the past and appreciate your continued support.

As always, should you ever need support or wish to report a community safety issue, please do not hesitate to contact us on [email protected] or 020 8207 7801.

We look forward to keeping in touch and hope to see you at future CSP events.
